Vincent 3rd Grade McGinnis During the month of November students grades 3-5 explored the art of active lines. Active lines include zig zag lines, curved lines, and diagonal lines. During this project students had the exciting opportunity to listen to music and create active lines that mimic the sounds of the music. Students created these different types of line patterns inside the sections of a fall leave. Enjoy!
Sumayyah 4th Grade Jezewski During the month of September students were studying directional lines such as horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines. Students discovered that we see directional lines in nature all the time. Together we learned how to create a fall landscape using directional lines. Students loved experimenting with different mediums such as chalk, crayon, pencil, and marker. Independently students tried blending and smearing chalk to create different effects in the sky and on the ground. |
